Founder and Leader of the International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has denied ever saying that the late dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns is happily residing in heaven.

Some online portals have reported that the controversial man of God has asked Ghanaians especially fans of the late award winning musician Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng a.k.a. Ebony to stop crying and rejoice because she has made it to heaven.

According to the websites, the controversial man of God said in contrast to what many Ghanaians think because of the way Ebony lived her life and the kind of songs she sung, the diva was able to make heaven simply because hell was shut down for renovation and also rejected her gentle soul.

“Ebony is in heaven and entertaining people there. Hell has rejected her gentle soul so Ghanaians should stop crying.”

However reacting to the claims on Okay FM Friday, Bishop Obinim’s stated rubbished the report and urged the public to treat it with the contempt that it deserves.

“This story attributed to me is false, I never said Ebony is in Heaven. To be honest, If I tell you God has revealed something about Ebony, I’ll be lying. I’ve never seen Ebony or spoken to her not even on phone. I’ve never had a revelation about her be it when she was alive or in her death. Based on this there’s no way I can ever publicly make any comment about Ebony.”
