My collabo with Sark was waste of time – Yemi Alade

Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter, Yemi Alade has described as unfair and unprofessional the attitude exhibited by Ghana’s hiplife don Sarkodie over a planned collaboration between them.
She said Sarkodie disrespected her and her team by refusing to show up for the numerous schedules they made for a video shoot.
Yemi told Bola Ray on Starr Chat on Wednesday, November 22,” It’s super unfair, unprofessional and unkind for international or any other artiste to have a dealing with anybody and after agreeing to certain things you don’t come through at all, I can count three different countries and three different venues that my team and I had an agreement with the artiste (Sarkodie) in particular and he didn’t come through”.
The ‘Johnny’ hitmaker added that though Sarkodie never got back to apologize for the conduct, she has gotten over it.
“The good thing about the whole thing is that I already had my name so I’m not bothered, he never got back to apologize and I’m over it. He asked that we meet in UK, America, and South Africa and it never happened and  because we realized that we were in the same location at the same period and realized that our calendars were kind of linking up in these three  countries, we tried to make it work but the moment we tried to link up and make things work it didn’t work, it was gross unprofessionalism on his part,” Yemi bemoaned.

Ghanaian actress begins #NoPanty campaign for ladies Ghanaian actress Baby Blanche of Socrate Safo’s ‘ Hot Fork ‘ movie fame has launched a campaign to stop ladies from wearing panties. She said the campaign which is themed ‘Operation Remove Your Panties’, is advising young ladies to refrain from wearing panties since they play a major role in the cause of infections – like Candida – in the female genital organ. “The whole initiative is to help ladies free themselves from infections which most of them suffer as a result of wearing panties. I have practiced it and it has helped me. I also want to impart this same practice onto others. “I can’t preach about going ‘pantyless’ and contradict myself by wearing them. I am not wearing Panties as I speak to you,”  she told JOY NEWS. According to her, though she hasn’t consulted any medical practitioner for advice, she’s confident her colleague ladies will gradually understand the intended meaning of her campaign based on her pers...

Shatta Wale’s comment on my GH One TV walk-off was childish – Tic Tac

Shatta Wale’s comment on my GH One TV walk-off was childish – Tic Tac Hiplife artiste, Tic Tac has described as ‘childish and sarcastic’ Shatta Wale’s commendation of his decision to walk out of live TV interview on GH One TV. Tic Tac walked out of the interview because visuals of Shatta Wale’s video were playing in the background at a time he was answering questions about the feud between them. “Are you playing Shatta Wale’s video? Is it because we are talking about him? I did not come here to promote Shatta Wale,” he said and left the studio despite attempts by the host to offer an explanation and resolve the issue. In what has been described by many as ‘shocking’, Shatta Wale in a Facebook post jumped to the defense of Tic Tac as he posited that the latter’s posture affirms the ideals he [Shatta Wale] has been preaching for some time now. “I think Tictac really made the best move ever. This is what i have been talking about. We should respect an artiste when he is your studios or...

I'm not in a rush to make a new family - Yvonne Okoro   If you ever intend visiting beautiful and smart Ghanaian actress Yvonne Okoro at home after 10pm, I’m sorry, that is almost impossible. Yes, the actress lives with her parents in their home and that means you are not really welcome unless the visit is that necessary or you are family related. Well, how did we know this? As monitored by Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture And Urban Entertainment News – www.nydjlive.com, the actress we so much adore in a recent interview with Delay revealed the parents were very traditional and conservative hence living with them. Wow!! Going on 33 and still living with the parents? I’m sure that’s the very question you are asking yourself but hey, that’s not a big deal. “I live with my parents. I live in a very traditional conservative family where there’s that… you can’t bring a man home unless the man, you know…this is a serious relationship”, she said. Although Yvonne Okoro would w...
