Hotel closed down for planning sex party

Hotel closed down for planning sex party
A hotel in Accra has been temporarily closed down by the Ghana Tourism Authority ahead of a planned sex party on Saturday, October 28, 2017. The weekend’s pornographic activities were explicitly advertised in circulated posters. The Naughty Rebels House Party promised patrons side attractions like ‘blow job, sex, dick massage, body massage and threesome [sex]’. All these activities come with different charges ranging from GHc50 to GH250 aside the GHC50 to be charged at the gate.
Having got wind of the impending sex party, the Ghana Tourism Authority on Friday stormed the venue of the event, Potomac Hotel located at Gbawe with personnel of the Ghana Police Service and closed it down. Sex tourism is illegal in Ghana and the Authority has closed down some hotels in the past for harbouring prostitutes. Notice posted on the doors of the hotel read: “The public is hereby informed that this facility has been closed down for failing to meet the requirements provided under Legislative Instrument (L.I 1205). Accommodation and Catering Enterprises Regulation, 1979.”
A man managing the facility when the tourism authority got there said the party was not being organised by the hotel.  He claimed a group of guys rented some of the rooms for a party over the weekend but management of the hotel has no idea what they intended doing there. But 3news.com has gathered that a lady believed to be behind the sex party has been arrested by the police. Sources at the Ghana Tourism Authority said the hotel would be sanctioned and also ask to pay the cost involved in the operation.
