Sekondi/Tadi: Mobile money vendor collapses after losing GHC6,000 to fraudsters Its all happened today, Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in the afternoon when a petty trader by name Mena Ekua, 37 went to the vendor in question, Emmanuel Dadzie who is in his 30s at Nkotompo and asked him to transfer 2000 cedis each to three different contacts, a request the vendor quickly obliged. It was when the vendor demanded his money from the lady that she told the vendor that the person  he transferred the money to called her and introduced himself as Manager of MTN and that, she the lady had won a raffle so she should go and make that transaction after which the vendor would give the prize to her. Free SHS begins today Government’s flagship program, the free Senior High School policy begins in all public senior high schools across the country today, September 11,2017The Computerized School Selection Placement System (CSSPS) which places students into various senior high schools encountered some challenges, with error notices greeting some BECE graduates who have been trying, since September 1, to access the website for self-placement. The free SHS policy, to cost 3.6 billion Ghana cedis each year, was a major campaign promise by then candidate Nana Akufo Addo in both the 2012 and 2016 elections.
